The Grassroots Trust Velodrome is hosting the APL NZ Grand Prix, a UCI Class 2 event, as part of the 'Cambridge Week of Speed'
Entry is free for spectators. Food trucks will be on site, Forza Bike Exhibition, DJ with live music. Also its your chance to get onto the infield during competition!
Come and watch some of the best riders from around the world including our own Olympians and Paralympians. Meet and Greet sessions with our Silver and Gold Medal Winners at Paris 2024 - Sunday between 1-2pm, come into the infield podium and get a signed A5 poster and selfie with your favourite Olympians.
Events:
Sprinters: Sprint + Keirin
Endurance: Scratch and Points, Madison + Elimination
Para-Cycling: Time Trial + Individual Pursuit
Saturday 14th December.
Session 1: racing starts 10am - 2pm. Session 2: racing starts 5pm - 9.30pm
Sunday 15th December:
Session 1: racing starts from 9am - 1pm. Session 2: racing starts from 1.30pm - 5pm
Olympic Autograph Signing 1-2pm in front of the Large Screen in the infield.
